Abstract
We report an uncommon case of heterotopic ossification affecting the median nerve at the level of the distal forearm and carpal tunnel with some unusual features: its length, the concomitant involvement of the ulnar nerve at Guyon's canal and a positive family history of heterotopic ossification.
RésuméNous rapportons un cas exceptionnel de calcification hétérotopique du nerf médian au tiers distal de l’avant bras et du canal carpien. En plus de sa rareté, ce cas présente des particularités : la longueur de la calcification, l’atteinte concomitante du nerf ulnaire dans le canal de Guyon et la présence d’une histoire familiale de calcification hétérotopique.
