Abstract
SummaryTreatment of infected total knee replacement is complex. A thorough clinical and diagnostic assessment is essential followed by careful planning of treatment. The ultimate goal is eradication of infection, and restoration of a pain-free and functional knee. An algorithm based on a literature review is set out.
