Abstract
Combined subtalar and ankle arthritis is a difficult entity to treat. The goals of treatment are to eliminate pain and correct deformity while creating a limb that can be used to ambulate in an energy-efficient manner. There are many different ways to attain these goals based on the cause of the arthritis, previous interventions, and comorbid conditions.
