Abstract
Osteoid osteoma of the foot is a relatively rare lesion and its symptoms are often atypical. Intra-articular or juxta-articular localizations occur even more rarely. We report two cases of juxta-articular localisation near the subtalar joint, one in the talus and one in the calcaneus, that caused a sinus tarsi syndrome. In the absence of clear radiographic findings, computed tomography allowed us to diagnose this unusual pathology which can be treated surgically.
