Treatment of distal tibial fractures by minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis of three different plates: Results and cost-effectiveness analysis

The use of conventional plates or LCPs provides a similar outcome in the treatment of distal tibial fractures. However, the LCP is more expensive than the conventional plate. This study showed that the surgical outcome of displaced distal tibial fractures is not affected by the use of LCP.
