Abstract
An efficient and robust method has been devised for the synthesis of heterogeneous ferrocene tethered NHC–Pd complex using a supported ionic liquid phase (SILP) catalyst as a precursor. The versatility of the synthesized complex has been investigated by employing it in the Suzuki coupling of aryl boronic acids with aryl halides.
