Abstract
Soft tissue interposition arthroplasty for treatment of shoulder arthritis is an emerging technique that has received increasing attention recently. Although currently available data are insufficient to advocate routine use of this procedure, the technique is presented as a possible option to treat shoulder arthritis. Further work is required to determine the role of soft tissue interposition arthroplasty in this setting.
