Abstract
Over a 7-year period (January 2003-December 2009), 18 patients have been treated for proximal humeral fractures after sport injuries using Kapandji's method of internal fixation. Neer classification was used to classify the fractures. Various indications were found, with a majority of two and three part fractures. Complications were not rare, but the functional results following Constant score are very good.
