Abstract
The necessary rise in the physical level standard of professional rugby as well as other contact sports led us to develop an original technique for stabilization of acromio clavicular separations. It is based on the use of a synthetic reinforcement without the need for a complementary pinning and taking in account all the injured structures. Applied to more than 150 patients of which many professional sportsmen, it gave us 85% of good and very good results at the price of rare not definitive complications. The interest of this technique is very significant in the speed of resumption of the sports activities and especially of rugby.
