Abstract
In a sport like rugby, culture of pain occurs neglecting of ligamentous lesions which can quickly evolve to chondral degradation and functional sequelae. Only a good knowledge of physiology of this complex articulation and a standardized diagnosis method are capable to decrease the bad-effects of the natural history of these ligament tears. Specialized examination is often supplemented by an arthro-CT scan or a diagnosis arthroscopy. During the first weeks, mini-invasive treatment can be performed. Later, surgical procedures will be heavier and only palliative (scaphoidectomy, partial arthrodesisâ¦).
