Abstract
Posterior ankle arthroscopy can be used in the treatment of various conditions of the posterior ankle and subtalar joints as well as the retrocalcaneal bursa. This article describes the indications, operative technique, postoperative care, complications, and results of posterior ankle arthroscopy, with a particular emphasis on sporting individuals who present with posterior impingement.
