Abstract
Chronic anterior knee instability due to anterior cruciate ligament insufficiency, combined with varus malalignment and chondral lesions, is a problem common in young athletes. A good therapeutic strategy is necessary to preserve the level of sports ability and avoid or decrease secondary degenerative lesions. This article provides strategies on how to deal with different combined lesions and describes the authors’ preferred operative technique.
