Abstract
Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the commonest form of nerve entrapment syndrome. It can be a debilitating condition with significant socioeconomic costs in the form of reduced productivity, wage reimbursement and compensation claims. As a result it continues to be investigated from a scientific and economic standpoint.We look at the recent evidence and summarize the key advancements and current controversies.
