In the literature reviewed, HH does not appear as an etiological factor of HAN, although this association has been described in rare cases. Thus, when HAN is present, the known etiological factors and the possibility of association with HH should be evaluated to be able to make the diagnosis and perform an early treatment of this potentially serious disease.
