Abstract
Transient osteoporosis of the hip is a rare condition characterized by pain and marked osteopenia in the femoral head and neck that can occur in the third trimester of pregnancy. We describe the case of a 36Â weeks pregnant with a subcapital hip fracture treated by closed reduction and internal fixation.
