Abstract
Glenoid deficiency presents a unique challenge for surgeons performing total shoulder arthroplasty. The etiology of glenoid deficiency can be either congenital, acquired, or traumatic. There are many indications as well as options for correction of glenoid deficiency. The goal of this report is to briefly describe each of the causes of glenoid deficiency and the current treatment recommendations that currently exist in the literature.
