Abstract
Chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) is a rare condition that manifests as recurrent, severe and life-threatening infections. We present a rare case of recurrent multifocal abscesses and respiratory embarrassment from retropharyngeal abscesses in a child with CGD, and discuss the aetiology, presentation and management of this condition.
