Abstract
SummaryInflammatory myofibroblastic tumours (IMTs) are benign slow growing lesions with a distinct histological appearance. The majority of these type of lesions have so far been reported in adolescent children presenting with airway compromise. We describe the first report of an IMT in a 19 month old child that presented with airway obstruction. This lesion was treated by complete excision via an anterior trans-tracheal approach.
