Abstract
The endoscopic endonasal transclival “far-medial” approach is a safe and effective surgical technique to access the parasagittal inferior third of the clivus. Its indications, advantages, and limitations were previously described. The main objective of this article is to review the relevant surgical anatomy and the operative nuances of the endoscopic endonasal approach to the inferolateral region of the clivus. Anatomical pictures and illustrative cases facilitate its demonstration.
