Abstract
Removal, replacement, or adjustment of a cochlear implant device is not a desirable surgical procedure. Due to a variety of indications, it may become indicated. Good preoperative planning is essential, with collaboration between the surgeon, the cochlear implant audiologist, and the patient. We present an overview of our process for revision cochlear implant surgery.
