Abstract
Traditional open approaches to cervical branchiogenic cysts involving external incisions provide associated morbidity and unaesthetic notorious scars. The recent advent of endoscopic procedures has compelled head and neck surgeons to reconsider the conventional methods by which the excision of cervical congenital cysts is classically achieved. Endoscopic resection is a minimally invasive approach that is safe, effective, and spares unnecessary discomfort to the patient. This article describes the author's method for performing an endoscopic approach for extirpation of cervical branchiogenic cysts.
