Abstract
Osteoplastic frontal sinus obliteration is often considered the “gold standard” surgical procedure for the frontal sinuses. Treatment of persistent or recurrent disease of the frontal sinus after obliteration can be challenging. By incorporating newer devices and surgical techniques, including powered instrumentation and image-guided navigation, otorhinolaryngologists may approach failures after obliteration via endoscopic or open routes.
