Abstract
Congenital choanal atresia is an uncommon disease occurring in approximately 1 in 7,000-8,000 births. It can present as an emergency during the neonatal period in bilateral cases. Classical surgical methods of treatment of this entity are widely replaced by endoscopic techniques.
