Abstract
These findings suggest that human turbinate fibroblasts are apparently redirected toward chondrogenic phenotype by in vitro culture system under specific conditions. Co-culture of turbinate fibroblasts with septal chondrocytes would be an effective method to expand cartilage specific extracellular matrix.
