Abstract
Aggressive B-cell lymphomas are the largest group of lymphomas in children and adolescents. The most relevant entities are B-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma, Burkitt lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma. This review summarized histopathological features of this group of lymphomas and recommendations for diagnostic immunohistochemical staining are provided. Furthermore, age specific diagnostic considerations in the differential diagnosis of aggressive B-cell lymphoma are provided.
