Abstract
RésuméNous rapportons ici un cas d’abcès cérébral à Listeria monocytogenes de localisation sus-tentorielle. Les hémocultures et le dosage de la procalcitonine sanguine étaient négatifs. Le diagnostic a pu être posé grâce à l’isolement de L. monocytogenes dans le LCR après inoculation en milieu liquide Castañeda.
Here we report a case of sustentorial brain abscess due to Listeria monocytogenes. Blood culture and procalcitonine blood measurement were negative. L. monocytogenes was isolated from CSF after inoculation in Castañeda medium.
