Abstract
Whereas immunohistochemistry provides useful and reliable diagnostic information in the evaluation of squamous lesions, its application in the diagnosis of glandular lesions is much less specific and is limited to the confirmation of certain tumours and the differential diagnosis of malignant and benign lesions.
