Abstract
the results obtained correlate with previously published results, however, there are no reports in the literature related to the correlation of extracapsular extension and VEGF-A and KDR. Whereas the expression of KDR was similar in both groups, VEGFA was higher in PTC-E >10mm, which would indicate that an over expression of VEGF-A may be related to extracapsular invasion.
