Abstract
Last year was the centennial anniversary of the neurofibrillary tangles first description by Fuller and Alzheimer in 1906 in the Alzheimer's disease. The purpose of this report is to analyze and study the history of this description, especially in relation to Spanish contribution through S. Ramón y Cajal's neuropathological school by means of N. Achúcarro, G. RodrÃguez Lafora, and M. Gayarre.
