Abstract
The frequent identification of columnar cell lesions in breast biopsies performed due to microcalcifications mammograficaly detected, has determined an increasing interest for the adequate classification, as well as their biological and clinical significance. In the present review, we describe the classification criteria and the main difficulties for the differential diagnosis, biological significance and clinical management of these lesions.
