Abstract
We report a case of malignant mesothelioma in a 37 year-old woman treated for uterine leiomyomas. The diagnosis of mesothelioma was stablished based on autopsy study. The immunohistochemical study of mesothelial tumor showed strong CD10 immunoreactivity. Our series of mesotheliomas was also retrospectively studied with anti-CD10 and around 30% of them expressed CD10. Around 40% of mestohelioma cases reported in the Literature express CD10. We conclude that CD10 could be expressed in some mesothelial tumors, and may help to stablish a differential diagnosis in some cases.
