Abstract
Cutaneous epithelioid angiomatous nodule (CEAN), is a recently described vascular lesion with distinct histological features and apparently benign behaviour. The lesion is predominantly located in the trunk and extremities. It appears as a small erythematous papule or nodule with a short history. Despite the apparent clinicopathologic differences, the possibility that CEAN represent a very unusual variant of epithelioid hemangioma can not absolutely be excluded.
