Abstract
•Think of colon duplication when you see a fistula with a normally situated anus.•Duplication of anus, external genitals or urinary system points to colon duplication.•Contrast enema, MCUG, CT Scan and MRI should be done for associated anomalies.•Treatment should aim at preserving bowel length.•Cases of colon duplication with absent anus have complex anatomy.
A case of a four and a half years old girl with total colon and terminal ileal duplication with a normally situated anus, vestibular fistula, double bladder and urethra with a unique feature of loop duplication of terminal ileum and part of the colon is reported. A proposal is made for a new simplified classification.
