Abstract
The findings of this study demonstrated an alarming increase in the prevalence of antibiotic resistance of uropathogenic enterobacteriaceae. Thus, it is imperative to rationalize the use of antibiotics, improve hygiene in hospitals and establish a system for continuous monitoring bacterial resistance.
