RésuméDe nombreuses publications sont parues ces dernières années sur l’intérêt et l’utilité des patch-tests chez des patients souffrant d’eczéma atopique (EA). L’évaluation des lésions cutanées à l’aide d’un patch-test, ou atopy patch test (APT), peut être utilisée comme un outil de diagnostic chez des patients atteints d’un EA déclenché par des aéroallergènes ou des trophallergènes. Dans cet article sont passés en revue les indications de l’emploi des APT, le choix des allergènes, les techniques utilisés, y compris les notions actuelles sur la sensibilité et la spécificité. Enfin, des faits cliniques sont rapportés en particulier chez l’enfant.
SummaryA number of scientific reports have been published on patch tests with protein allergens performed on patients with atopic eczema (AE). Evaluation of eczematous skin lesions with an atopy patch test (APT) can be used as a diagnostic tool in characterizing patients with aeroallergen – and food-triggered AE. Indications for testing with APT, choice of allergens (aeroallergens and foods), test materials and technique, including present knowledge on sensitivity and specificity, clinical reports are particularly mentioned in childhood.
