RésuméL’alcoolisation des adolescents est un problème important. Les modes de consommation ont changé avec une augmentation des ivresses et des consommations d’alcools forts. Beaucoup d’adolescents sont amenés aux urgences hospitalières. Les conséquences de ces alcoolisations sont dramatiques : décès au cours d’accidents, lésions graves consécutives aux traumatismes, agressions sexuelles. Il est possible d’utiliser des scores de repérages : adolescents substances psychoactives (Adospa) ou dépistage adolescent (Depado) semblent les plus adaptés mais en parler est sûrement le meilleur moyen de repérer… Les adolescents sont, de manière inconsciente, la cible des publicités directes et indirectes pour l’alcool. La prise en charge repose sur une amélioration du dépistage des alcoolisations problématiques en pratique de consultation et aux urgences. Il existe des recommandations d’hospitalisation systématique des adolescents vus aux urgences pour ivresse. La prévention est essentielle et difficile et repose, avant tout, sur une reconnaissance du caractère anormal et non festif ou initiatique des consommations d’alcool de l’adolescent.
