Abstract
Allergic conditions in children such as food allergy, eczema, hay fever are very common. They are seen in various clinical set-ups within paediatric units and also elsewhere. Putting some structure into the services that are provided for these children contributes strongly to managing them appropriately. The following is a description of how an allergy service was established in a teaching district general hospital.
