Abstract
The neuropsychiatric effects included mood, behavioural, and cognitive disorders. To decrease or discontinue glucocorticoids can remedy adverse effects in some cases, but in other cases antipsychotics or mood stabilizers are required. Even if there is no consensus on prophylactic prescription, it is advisable to make recommendations on the prevention of psychiatric and cognitive symptoms in patients with risk factors.
