Abstract
We report the case of a male patient with type 1 bipolar disorder who, during 13 years of follow-up, developed nephrotic syndrome caused by lithium therapy, syndrome of inappropriate secretion of ADH associated with carbamazepine, and tricyclic antidepressant intoxication due to interaction with valproic acid.
