Abstract
Families are an essential ingredient in supporting the recovery process in schizophrenia. Interventions to help families do this effectively have a well-established evidence base, yet they are not routinely implemented in clinical practice. This contribution highlights the needs of families, examines how to intervene and provides a case study to encapsulate how family work can be incorporated into teams’ working practices.
