Abstract
Couple and individual psychological factors are very widespread in those who present with sexual dysfunctions. The types of relationship and individual problems encountered are listed, along with ways of overcoming them in therapy. Specific techniques used in the behavioural systems approach are presented for managing difficulties of sexual motivation or desire, and principles and practice for treating sexual dysfunctions in psychosexual therapy are described.
