Abstract
In chestCT, it is necessary to have a sufficient coverage volume, realise an early infusion and a late acquisition and finally use sagittal and coronal reformations. It should not be confused with pleural plaques normal anatomical images (transverse thoracic muscle). MRI séquences of diffusion, the STIR séquence and whole-body MRI techniques are the future for now undervalued. MRI allows good chest individualise the pleura and chest wall and is interesting in the locoregional staging of mesothelioma.
