Abstract
During the 2012 congress of the European Respiratory Society in Vienna, many studies on asthma have been presented. Some of them have retained particular attention. Clustering methods in asthma represent a new approach to study the evolution of asthmatic patients and their subclasses. Recent studies, particularly about omalizumab and its effects on the long term have updated our knowledge on this treatment.
