Abstract
Due to the multiple emergencies, this report may not be exhaustive and will be based primarily on the most common and usually encountered complications of care of lung cancer by successively treating complications directly related to cancer (superior vena cava syndrome, proximal airway obstruction, hemoptysis, pleural and pericardial effusion) or indirectly linked to cancer (hyponatremia, hypercalcemia, pulmonary embolism). Support in ICU of patients with metastatic lung cancer seems indicated for selected patients and after multidisciplinary discussion.
