Abstract
Pulmonary rehabilitation for subjects with COPD is complex given that it must take into account both the chronic respiratory disease plus the multiple other diseases that may affect the patient, as well as the ageing process and the consequences of these factors. Such management is effective in elderly subjects, but requires further investigation.
