Abstract
Sexual disorders frequently affect patients in general. Chronic respiratory failure raises specific problems that are not limited to exercise intolerance. The different components of sexuality may be affected: the affective component, the genital component, desire and the perception of sexual identity. Moreover, relationships with the partner may be impaired. To solve sexual problems, it is necessary to take the time to talk and try to identify their origin. Therapeutic approaches go from simple reinsurance to prescription of specific treatments in case of erectile dysfonction.
