Abstract
Supportive care has been defined in the public health texts since 2004; it has a main consensual purpose: the global care of the patient. The methods used ensue from this target: to evaluate the needs from the patient, to identify the possible recourses and to ensure the continuity of interdisciplinary coverage. For all that, the practical organization of supportive care depends on historical factors, the type of structure as well as the resources available locally. Within the device of oncology, The Cancerology Coordination Committee (3C) should be the mainspring in the implementation of these elements within the oncology service.
