Abstract
Congenital tracheo-bronchial or lung malformations are now rarely discovered in adulthood. Adult physician may discover abnormalities of the trachea-bronchial anatomy, as bronchial agenesis, atresia or stenosis, or as abnormal bronchial division. Abnormalities may consist in outgrowth from the bronchial tree, as diverticulum or bronchogenic cyst. It may also concern lung parenchyma as unusual scissure distribution, pulmonary sequestration, lobar emphysema, cystic adenomatoid malformation. The other malformations concern the vascular system of the lung. There are agenesis or stenosis of the pulmonary artery, arteriovenous fistula, abnormal venous circulation. Most of these malformations are extremely rare and fortuitously diagnosed because they remain without symptom. The occurrence of a complication may most of the time lead to surgical treatment. Without symptom, they must be let in place, however could then complicated thoracic surgery of another lung disease.
