Abstract
Smooth muscle cells and endothelial cells play a key role in the pathophysiology of PAH. Their phenotype study, in vitro, shows an increase in their capacity of proliferation related to an autocrine secretion of growth factors but also to a paracrine secretion, displaying an interaction between these two cell types.
