Abstract
For more than ten years, several clinical trials have been conducted in order to evaluate adjuvant or neo-adjuvant treatments in non small cell lung cancer. Some trials included all operable stages, while others only some particular stages. Among adjuvant chemotherapy clinical trials, four were positive (IALT, UFT, JBR10 and ANITA) and have demonstrated chemotherapy's interest in stage II and IIIA. Benefit in stage IB is also probable, at least for tumors ≥ 4 centimeters in diameter.
